" My wines always tell a story"
"Because there are no great wines without big grapes, at Domaine Paul Jaboulet Aîné, the culture of the vine is the heart of our profession. Each vine must be able to mature its grapes in the best conditions and to draw in the ground the taste of the soil. Concerned with preserving the quality of our soils and the diversity of our terroirs, we have been practicing for a long time a sweet viticulture, and the whole of our vineyard is in official conversion towards the Organic Agriculture since 2013. The efforts made to minimize our environmental impact In 2012, we obtained the ISO 14 001 certification, and our work around biodiversity, the exploitation certification with High Environmental Value, in 2015. The excellence of the cuvées Paul Jaboulet Elder is based on very high fruit quality, sublimated by a meticulous vinification and a breeding of great finesse. Because on the most beautiful appellations of the Rhone Valley, it is in the purest expression of the terroir that the great wines are born, their balance, their complexity, their longevity. ".

Here's what's on offer -
Croze Hermitage Domaine de Thalabert 2015 1.5 litres $149.00 (1) or 3 litres $299.00 (2)
The finest vintage to date, better even than the stellar 2010, the 2015 Crozes-Hermitage Domaine De Thalabert is a gorgeous, deep, layered, and incredibly satisfying Crozes. Blackcurrants, olive tapenade, truffles and earthy notes all emerge from this full-bodied, gorgeously textured and seamless 2015. With fine tannin and no hard edge, it can be drunk today or cellaring for 15-20 years.
Croze Hermitage Domaine de Roure Rouge 2015 750 mls 6 pack $79.00 ea (3)
Brooding, concentrated and tannic, the 2015 Crozes-Hermitage Domaine de Roure will need some time to come out of its granite shell. Crushed stone and dark cherries and cassis emerge only reticently on the nose. For easier near-term drinking, grab some of the Thalabert; for serious longevity in the cellar, the Domaine de Roure will be hard to beat. Anticipated maturity; 2025-2040.

St Joseph Domaine de la Croix des Vignes 2015 750 mls 6 pack $89.00 ea (4)
Notes of cassis, liquid rock, pepper and olives dominate the bouquet of the 2015 St Joseph Domaine de La Croix des Vignes, a medium to full-bodied, incredibly elegant St Joseph that has fine tannin and impeccable balance. As with all of the wines here, the winemaking is top notch, and this should be drinkable with just a few years of cellaring, yet still evolve gracefully.

Cornas Domaine de Saint Pierre 2015 750 mls 6 pack $124.00 (5)
Located close to the Chapel of Saint Pierre, at the top of the granitic slopes of Cornas, Jaboulet's old vines of Syrah produce a wine with a lot of character; a full-bodied wine with aromas of blackberries, redcurrants, laurel and an incredible concentration.
The 2015 Cornas Domaine de Saint Pierre is a full-bodied, concentrated wine that brings the essence of Cornas to the bottle in its scents of crushed stones and firm, tannic finish. Hints of toasted almond and mocha give it a gloss of modernity, but its red plum fruit, hints of iron or blood, and sturdy feel bring it right back to the appellation's granite slopes.

Cote Rotie Domaine de Pierrelles 2015 750 mls 6 pack $139.99 ea (6)
Despite the warm, concentrated nature of the vintage, the 2015 Cote Rotie Domaine des Pierrelles shows remarkable silkiness and finesse. Smoky notes frame raspberry fruit in this wine that seems almost too gentle to have come from such a rugged landscape. In its elegance, it reminds me of a ripe Burgundy from Chambolle-Musigny. “
