Tasting Notes: Midori is a vibrant, green melon liqueur originating from Japan, famously made from premium muskmelons. Launched in 1978, this sweet, 20% ABV (40 proof) liqueur is a staple in cocktails like the Melon Ball, Midori Sour, and Japanese Slipper. Its fruity, candy-like profile is ideal for mixing with citrus, spirits, and sparkling wines. CLASSIC MIDORI SOUR: 1 ounce Midori - 1 ounce vodka - 1/2 ounce lemon juice freshly squeezed - 1/2 ounce lime juice freshly squeezed - Club soda to top. HOW TO MAKE: Add the Midori, vodka, lemon juice and lime juice to a Collins glass with ice. Stir to combine, then top with a splash of soda water. Garnish with a lemon wheel.

Recipe: 1.5 oz Tequila, ½ oz White Chocolate Liqueur, Strawberry Syrup [Optional: Strawberries] Directions: Combine Tequila, White Chocolate Liqueur, and Strawberry Syrup to a cocktail shaker over ice. Shake until combined and chilled. Pour the shot into the glass and add a strawberry to garnish.

Tasting Notes: PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur is a versatile spirit with a distinctive balance of sweet and tart pomegranate flavor, which comes from a blend of all-natural California pomegranate juice, premium vodka, and a touch of imported tequila. FORBIDDEN SOUR COCKTAIL: 1 ounce bourbon - 1 ounce Pama pomegranate liqueur - 1 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed - 1/2 ounce simple syrup - Add the bourbon, pomegranate liqueur, lemon juice and simple syrup into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled. Tasting Notes: I’m always on the hunt for my next great cocktail — call it a spirited hobby. I don’t usually drift toward whiskey, but Irish whiskey is my weakness. This month’s favorite? A Shelby Sour made with Bushmills — smooth, bold, and just the right kind of trouble. Ingredients 2 parts Bushmills Original ¾ part Orange Liqueur ½ part Lemon Juice ¼ part Simple Syrup 1 Orange Peel Instructions In an iced mixing tin, combine all ingredients. Shake. Double strain over iced rocks glass. Garnish with an orange peel.

1884 Estate Grown Malbec  Argentina

Tasting Notes: 1884 wine is from Argentina, specifically the Mendoza region in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. The wine is produced by Bodegas Escorihuela Gascón, which has a history dating back to 1884. This Malbec is a deep reddish purple colour,and has notes of black fruits and red plum. It is delicious, moderately priced, and would go great with a steak dinner or a hearty stew. One of my personal faves, and one I often recommend.
